Curious about studying at VMU? Ask alumni and students!

VDU

Vytautas Magnus University has recently launched Unibuddy, a platform to connect prospective students from around the world with its current students, alumni, and staff.

If you are interested in studying at VMU, just go to Unibuddy page and meet our amazing team of ambassadors. They are here to answer your questions and tell you about their study experience, accommodation, scholarships, city life and loads more.

You can chat with someone from the subject area you may be interested in, or the country you are from. You can ask alumni about their career path after graduation or virtually meet staff and clarify important details.

Many VMU students have decided to help the future students with their choice. They consider the participation in Unibuddy project as a mutual exchange between the students and the university.

I know the feeling when you are going to another country alone and do not know anything, but then you can ask your buddy and she/he helps, so it is like a relief! I have been a buddy in my school, so I know how it works. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them. That’s why I have decided to join Unibuddy!” shares Alina Mutassova, Bachelor’s student of Economics and Finance from Kazakhstan.

I have come to believe that the right information is power. I am willing to share information about my experience at VMU from the bottom of my heart. I have found that youths are aspiring for greater height in a developing country like Nigeria, but there are little knowledge of how they can succeed. I believe my joining Unibuddy will make lots of significance,” says Felix Olumide Owojoba, Master’s student of Social Anthropology from Nigeria.

I try to use every opportunity that VMU gives me. For me, this is something new, and I will be happy to do my best. I am sure Unibuddy is an awesome experience of communication for me. I will share my study experience with future students. So, I will be able to learn about people from other countries and cultures. It’s amazing! says Ivan Borovikov, Bachelor student of Business Administration from Ukraine.

I remember myself before my study abroad experience get started. I have been living in Kaunas for several months when I decided to apply to VMU. I was lucky to meet the current students and staff in person, see the university buildings, ask my questions, and dispel doubts. It helped me to make the decision about my studies at VMU. Now, future students are lucky as well, because they’ve got Unibuddy! I think it’s an optimal platform, if you have a question about a course, being a student, or the city of Kaunas. You just send a message to one of our friendly student ambassadors and start chatting. Making choice about your future has never been easier! says Ganna Tron, the Student Ambassador Manager of Unibuddy at VMU.
